We have been in Treeton village since the late 1800's. Our current church was built in 1923 with its doors opening in January of 1924 (see our History page for more details).
We are a lively, welcoming church in the heart of the village - a church wanting to lovingly serve the community - and to grow along with it - and the surrounding communities.
We want to show people that Jesus is relevant to the world we live in today, and we want to serve Him and be the best we can be for Him - in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are joyful about being Baptists, but we welcome Christians of other denominations - and also non-Christians who would like to explore Christianity more - and/or enjoy fellowship with the family & friends of Treeton Baptist Church.
We believe that there is only one God and that He created the Heavens and the Earth. We believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He came to Earth in human form; was crucified on the cross taking all the sins of the world on His body; died an agonising death in His love for us; and rose from the dead - so that we might live - through God's grace.
We believe that if people repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their saviour - they will have a joyfully glorious eternal life - where there is no more sorrow or pain.
We believe that God gave everyone free will - the choice of whether they want to believe in Jesus Christ as their saviour. If and when they do repent and accept the salvation of Jesus - we will be ready to Baptise them by immersion in water - following the example of Jesus our Lord.
Our belief is that Jesus will once more become important in the lives of people in our surrounding communities - and we will be here to help them with their journey of faith.
